- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I love the doctors and staff here. Doctor Elliot is so kind and caring. She cried with me when one of my babies passed away in my arms after we'd done all we could for him. All of the staff here have an obvious love for all animals, even the rats I bring in. They're also very reasonably priced and always try to get the best treatment while trying not to prescribe medications that are too expensive. Doctor Elliot always listens to opinions/suggestions I get from others and speaks with her colleagues to come to the best decisions for my pets. - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Stohlmeyer has been our vet for 8 years and we have consistently received excellent care from her and the Ames Pet Hospital staff. Our younger dog was born with a serious ongoing medical condition and Dr. Stohlmeyer has been terrific in talking through our treatment options and working to find ways to keep him healthy.July 01, 2017by Chris
